First few sketch’s of my witch with no references

I then thought of wanting the witch to look as if she’s from the Pokémon world

I then proceed to exaggerate the silhouette to make the witch look more eccentric and flamboyant. Using lady gaga and Edna mode’s glasses as inspiration

I also tried to play with different body sizes

I also tried using other inspiration such as Snow White, Rave outfit and Marilyn Monroe’s pink dress from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes

I tried to expand the pink dress outfit but I then realised that the witch might outshine the customer’s outfit so in the end I didn’t use any of the outfit

I decided to make the witch invisible and have her use a witch hat and gloves. I then design a few gloves

For the witch hat, I use the Harry Potter Movies and Fantastic Beast as inspiration

Afterwards I choose a base hat and add sewing tools to the hat and gloves to make it more ‘tailor-like’

I then design it in a way where it doesn’t really look like as if the sewing tools are taped to the hat

Design variation for the customer’s normal outfit. I wanted the vibe to be simple and comfy.

For the transformed outfit, I thought of mythical creatures and folklore because I wanted to create an outfit that is not replica-table in real life
